HOW TO SPOT AN ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIP




There are different forms of abuse.. I'm going to list a few n relate them to relationships.

  • Emotional Abuse
  • Verbal Abuse
  • Physical Abuse
Their name basically sum it up but I'll do a little briefing.

  • Emotional abuse is any act or treatment that diminishes one identity, dignity and self worth. These acts include isolation, intimidation, humiliation, verbal assault and so on.
  • Verbal abuse just as its name implies involves spoken words... It occurs when words are used to reduce ones self esteem.
  • Physical abuse is physical force or violence that results to body injury pain and impairment. It includes battery, assault and inappropriate restraint.

Some people are involved in relationships which are abusive without even knowing it. Here are the signs of an abusive relationship:
  • There is constant jealousy
  • Your partner always want to be in control
  • Your partner has unrealistic expectations
  • Your partner tries to isolate you from the public, friends and family
  • Your partner blames you for their mistakes
  • Your partner makes you feel responsible their feelings
  • Your partner is hypersensitive
  • Your partner verbally abuses you
  • Your partner has sudden mood swings
  • Your partner constantly threatens violence
You should know that abusive relationships don't end well... Choose wisely
